Survey to know quality of life in Mangaluru from Feb 1 to 29

Mangaluru: The ‘Ease of Living Index’ survey by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs will be conducted from February 1 to 29 informed Mohammed Nazir, Managing Director of Mangaluru Smart City Limited (MSCL).

The survey is conducted by the Ministry to assess the quality of life experienced by the citizens in 114 cities of the country.

The results of the survey will be used to rank cities on a number of parameters based on the conveniences and facilities available in it and to help local governments in better planning and management of these cities.

The online feedback will also help Government of India, under the Smart Cities Mission, to promote cities that have provided a better quality of life to its residents along with core infrastructure for a clean and sustainable living environment.
