Mangaluru: The mortal remains of a man who was reportedly missing since two days has been found dead on the Netravati river banks at Valachil on Saturday night. Incidentally, the deceased was married just last Sunday.

The deceased man is identified as Mikdad (28), son of Razak Ammembala, a resident of Faisalnagar. The family suspects this to be a murder case.

The deceased went missing since Friday evening. The last know whereabouts of Mikdad was him entering the local masjid for Friday prayers captured by the CCTV cameras at the masjid.

The corpse has been sent to Wenlock hospital for post mortem and the mystery behind the death will be revealed post receiving of the autopsy reports.
