Suzuki has launched its much-awaited Gixxer SF 250 motorcycle in India at a price of Rs.1,70,655 along with the updated 2019 Gixxer SF 150 at Rs.1,09,870 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). With the launch of Gixxer SF 250, Suzuki enters into the fully-faired 250cc segment in India.

Gixxer SF 250 features an all-new design with a sharp and a large LED headlamp. The fairing, tank, split seats and the redesigned LED tail light are completely new and offer the bike a smooth flowing design that is not much aggressive. The instrument cluster is also new with a slightly tweaked layout and a white backlight.

Other highlight features of the new Gixxer 250 include a sportier clip-on handlebar, golden finish on the engine, telescopic front forks and a mono-shock suspension at the rear, disc brakes at both ends, a standard dual-channel ABS, presence of alloy wheels and the chrome-tipped double barrel exhaust which has been carried forward from the current Gixxer model.

Powering the Gixxer SF 250 is a 249cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine that churns out 26.5hp power at 9000rpm and 22.6Nm of torque at 7500rpm. The engine gets mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike weighs 161 kgs with a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.

2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 takes on the likes of its rivals Yamaha Fazer 25 and Honda CBR 250R.
