Swachh Bharat Abhiyan held at Panambur Beach

Mangaluru: KIOCL Limited being a Public Sector Company under Government of India has been conducting “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” with a mission to support this Abhiyan continuously since 2014.
This month in connection with the Abhiyan, the Kudremukh Swachh Bharath Abhiyan Committee apart from constructing toilets, distributing hygienic kits, cleaning its Company premises, township and surroundings, had organized one more constructive programme.
All Officers, employees, participated in the cleanliness drive which was conducted at the Panambur beach on the morning of 2nd March 2018 which had lot of junk dumped in the parking area, beside the sea shore and the entrance of the beach. Even the silt and garbage was removed.
The KIOCL Chairman cum Managing Director Sri.MV Subba Rao, General Manager, PPU, Sri.Roque D’souza, General Manager (BFU) Sri. S. Govindaraj Bhat, General Manager (Production) Sri. Devananda Pai along with other officers/employees of the Company actively participated in this Abhiyan and the work carried out was highly appreciated by the public and the Beach Management. The Panambur Corporater Sri Raghuveer was also present during the Abhiyan and appreciated the good clean up work done by KIOCL.
