Mangaluru: This year’s Ugadi festival has brought good news to the police. Every Ugadi, salaries for the month of March were being provided with some delay with the excuse of the end of financial year. However, this year the salary has been credited on April 2nd itself.
Every year, the salary for the month of March was being delayed with the excuse of the end of the financial year. Due to this lack of money, the staffs were finding it hard to do shopping on the eve of Ugadi festival. But this time, since the salary has been credited on April 2nd itself, it has brought us happiness, informs a police staff from the city police commissionerate. The police staff are discussing on whatsapp group in connection to getting their salaries during the Ugadi festival.
The special concern taken by Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil is the reason the policemen have received their salaries in good time, informs a staff.
If the cops are happy, so am I
“If the staffs are happy, I too am happy. The staffs work in the field. They should be happy. If they are happy, we can expect good service,” said Sandeep Patil, Police Commissioner
