Police officials have arrested 6 accused in connection with a violent sword attack on Monday in Thirthahalli .
The case names Safwan, Chor Sameer, and four others as accused, all of whom have been apprehended by the police.
The commotion began when Jeevit, Afroz, Saadik, and Raghavendra were in a bar consuming alcohol,
As the four exited the bar, Sameer and his companions, who had arrived with their friends, engaged in a heated argument with Afroz. The situation escalated into a fight, prompting the intervention of the police, who managed to separate the two groups.
However, the four youngsters, still under the influence of alcohol, later ventured to a bar near the Agumbe bus stand. From there, Afroz contacted Chor Sameer accusing him of assaulting them earlier at the hospital bar. When Afroz revealed his location, Chor Sameer immediately arrived and confronted him. Once again, the police were called upon to restore order and defuse the situation.
However, a short while later, while Afroz and his friends were walking near a jewellery shop, they were brutally attacked by Chor Sameer, accompanied by Safwab and four others. In the assault, Afroz suffered a head injury, and Jeevith was also harmed. CCTV footage captured the entire attack, which has since gone viral across various platforms.
