Ullal: The allegation made by a young construction worker named Kishore that three people had attempted to attack him with swords at K C Road of Talapady, is reportedly proven false.

As per the police sources, Kishore had said that while he was on the way for centering work near K C Road, three miscreants had attempted to assault him with swords. While providing the information on the same in the police station, he changed his version saying he felt like he was attacked.

Meanwhile, the police recorded his statement and detained him.

As the fear of the possibility of another untoward incident began spreading among the people living in Ullal and Konaje police station limits, Mangaluru Police Commissioner N Shashikumar has clarified the matter.

He said, “No such incident has occurred. While we interrogated him, he said that he felt like he was attacked. He has accepted that no one attacked him. We will act against him for spreading fake information”.
