Symposium on positive ageing

Manipal: Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal will organize a seminar on Positive Ageing on June 29, 2019, at 2.00 pm for those who are 55 years and above at the Nursing college campus here. The half-day seminar will mainly focus on the concept of “positive ageing: The newer and innovative way to approach later life”.

It focuses on the usual mental states of older adults and how to be prepared for managing those mental states for positive ageing. Another topic which will come up for discussion in the seminar would be on different welfare schemes which are available for older adults in India. It will emphasise on the older adults’ privileges offered by various ministries of the Centre and state governments.
