Bengaluru: Member of Parliament Shobha Karandlaje has accused the members of the Tablighi Jamaat as ‘corona jihadis’ for not reporting the event and forcefully insisting to stay in the Nizamuddin Markaz Mosque at Delhi even after repeated warnings.

She further explained that the many of them went to places across the country after the event and spread the disease to these parts.

She also stated that these members attacked health officials when they came to visit them in Bengaluru’s suburb and most of them are non-cooperative with the authorities while testing them.

About 391 Tablighis had attended the Delhi event, 200 of them were tested. 13 of these have tested COVID-19 positive.
