Tamil Nadu MLA’s son among 7 killed in major accident in B’luru

Bengaluru: A major vehicular accident occurred near Mangala Convention Hall in Koramangala here late on Monday, killing 7 people.

The incident occurred at 1:30 pm.

The Audi Q3 hit a pole on the footpath. The force of the impact completely crushed the front of the car killing six people in it on the spot.

Another traveller in the car died in hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Karunasagar, Bindu, Ishita, Dr Dhanusha, Akshay Goyal, Utsav, Rohit.

Postmortem of the dead was carried out at St John’s Hospital.

DMK MLA from Hosur constituency in Tamil Nadu Jaiprakash’s son was one of the travellers in the car.

It was reported that all of the car’s travellers had consumed liquor.
