Shivamogga: BJP legislator and former minister K S Eshwarappa has condemned the killing of BJYM leader Praveen Nettaru and said that ‘Hindutvavadis’ (supporting and practicing Hindu ideology) had become targets of ‘Muslim Goondas’.
Addressing the media on Wednesday, he said, “Target killings by few Muslim Goondas are claiming lives of Hindus. Hindu workers who are found lonely, are being hacked to death. All the political parties must stand united against such acts”.
“Lack of aggressive approach by the government and the Hindus must not be considered as weakness. It is just that we respect the law of the land and believe in peace”, he added.
Meanwhile, he has said that he would meet Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Home Minister Araga Jnanendra tomorrow (July 28) and urge them to deal with the matter seriously.
