Teammate files police complaint against Nayana of Comedy Khiladigalu fame

Bengaluru: A case has been registered against comedian Nayana, of Comedy Kiladigalu fame, about issuing death threats to fellow comedian Somashekar.
In his complaint, registered a the Rajarajeshwari Nagar Police Station, Somashekar has alleged that Nayana and he had a dispute over sharing the prize money they won as runners-up of Comedy Khiladigalu TV Show hosted by a private entertainment channel.
Somashekar said that Nayana not only verbally abused him but also issued death threats during a verbal spat. He also accused Nayana of threatening to harm his family and sought police protection for himself and his family.
Apart from Somashekar, actors Chidambaram and Anish were part of Nayana’s team on the show.
Meanwhile, purported audio of the verbal argument between Nayana and Somashekar has gone viral on social media.
Somasekhar is a coward: Nayana
Following the complaint, Nayana lashed out at Somasekhar and called him a ‘coward’ for not speaking out the truth.
She claimed that the winnings from the show have been deposited in Somashekar’s bank account and she asked for her fair share.
