Teenager commits suicide by hanging herself

Udupi: A 15-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence here at Chippady Bailakere on Sharada Kalyana Mantap Road on Saturday, February 2.

The deceased has been identified as Neela Challannavar.

It is gathered that Neela left behind a death note before hanging herself from the roof beams using a dupatta. Reportedly no one else was present at home at the time of the incident.

A case has been registered in the town police station here.
