Teenager dies in cylinder explosion while filling gas balloons at birthday party

Bengaluru: In a tragic incident a person, who was filling balloons with gas at a birthday celebration at an apartment, died on the spot after the gas cylinder exploded.

The deceased is identified as Dinesh (19), a resident of Parappana Agrahara. He was engaged in the business of providing balloons for birthday parties.

Dinesh had taken the contract of filling gas in balloons for a birthday party and had arrived at the apartment building along with his assistant Mahadesh.

When the duo were filling the balloons in the premises of the building near his parked bike. Mahadesh went inside the apartment to bring water. In the meantime, the cylinder exploded killing Dinesh died on the spot.
