Teenager drowns at Kodi beach

Kundapur: A teenage hailing from Koteshwara has drowned in the Arabian Sea at Kodi beach on Sunday afternoon, September 30^th. His mortal remains is yet to be retrieved.

The deceased has been identified as Manoj Poojary (18), son of Manjunath Poojary of Kodi. He was a second PUC student of a private college at Koteshwar.  

According to sources, after playing volleyball, Manoj had visited the Kodi beach along with his friends.  It is said that 4 people along with Manoj had ventured into the waters when Manoj was washed away by a giant wave. Kundapur police have registered a case.
