Bengaluru: A teenager lost his life when he was trying to catch ducks in a lake at Mangammanpalya.
It has been reported that, Salman Khan (19) son of a daily wager was out swimming in a lake with his friends. When Salman noticed ducks in the lake, he ventured into the lake and went deep into the waters to catch them. After a while he went missing.
The police rushed to the site along with the personnel from the fire and emergency department soon after they were informed about the incident. A team from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was also called in to help locate the young boy.
Due to heavy rains, the search for the boy’s remains was called off by the police who said they would resume the search on Monday morning.
