Telangana: BJP leader Neeraja Reddy killed in tragic road accident

Neeraja Reddy, a former MLA and BJP in-charge of Aluru in Kurnool,died on Sunday due to a road accident. She was traveling from Hyderabad to Kurnool when her car overturned after reportedly one of its tires burst at Beechupally in Telangana.

Reddy was admitted to Sri Chakra Hospital, but she couldn’t survive her injuries.

Reddy was a prominent political personality in the state and had previously won the MLA elections in 2009 from the Indian National Congress (INC). However, she resigned from the party in 2011 and distanced herself from politics for a while. In 2019, she joined the YSRCP but later quit the party and became a member of the BJP.
