Telugu channel illegally broadcasts KGF Chapter 1, producer to take legal action

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actor Yash starrer-KGF Chapter 1 was a huge success in 2018. KGF’s executive producer Karthik Gowda alleged that a cable channel from Andhra Pradesh has unofficially aired a KGF Chapter 1 cinema they will take legal action against the channel.
Gowda took to twitter and wrote, “A Telugu local channel named #Every^ is playing KGF film illegally. We will move legally against them and sue for their actions. While the satellite deal is on talks and almost finalized, a cable channel does this. We have ample proof with screenshots, videos of the same.”

KGF Chapter-1 was released on December 21, 2018. The film was a huge success in Indian cinema. Soon after the success, the film was streaming on Amazon Prime and a few channels that bought the satellite rights have aired the film on their channels.
As per sources, the Telugu satellite rights have not been sold by the makers yet and there have been talks about this a few days ago.
The film’s director Prashanth Neel is preparing for its sequel and expected to release by end of the year.
