Temporary ban on river rafting in Kodagu

Madikeri: There are many unofficial river rafting business functioning along Kaveri River. Such businesses can cause harm to life, property damage leading to break down in law and order of the society. To prevent such an event and considering the public’s safety, the Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu has banned river rafting along Kaveri River under CRPC column133.
If those providing river rafting facility fail to provide correct answers with the stipulated time under CRPC column 133, the temporary ban will be converted into a permanent ban. Further investigation of this case is been fixed for Mar 27th at 3pm. Persons related to this business will have to personally meet the DC.
