Temporary suspension of Namma Metro services between Mysore Road and Kengeri from Jan 27 to 30

Bengaluru: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) has announced a temporary suspension of Metro services on Namma Metro’s Purple Line between Mysore Road and Kengeri from January 27 to 30.

The services have been suspended due to the completion of the metro line extension from Kengeri to Challaghatta.

On these days, Metro Train services will be limited to the Balyappanahalli and Mysuru Road Metro stations. Normal service on the Purple Line up to Kengeri will resume at 5.00 a.m. on January 31.

The metro train schedule between Nagasandra and Silk Institute will remain unchanged.

According to a press release from BMRCL, “Commuters are requested to cooperate to enable speeding up of the commissioning works of the line beyond Kengeri.”
