Ten Day Long Mysuru Dasara Festival to Begin Tomorrow at Chamundeshwari Hill Top

Mysuru: World famous Dasara festival will begin from September 21 in Chamundeshwari hill top at 08.48 AM. Renowned Kannada poet KS Nissar Ahmed will worship Divine Chamundeshwari to inaugurate the 10 day long festival with a number of cultural events scheduled.
Dignitaries including, Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah, state ministers Dr HC Mahadevappa, Tanveer Sait, Umashree, Priyank Kharge and others are expected to take part in the inaugural session of the festival. Chief Minister will kick start various cultural events arranged for the visitors before Mysuru palace on Thursday evening. The major attraction of Dasara festival, Jamboo Savari will be held on September 30 and a 10 day long festival will conclude with a traditional torchlight march on the same day.
