TET exams to be organized twice a year from next year onwards: Minister B C Nagesh

Bengaluru: State Education Minister B C Nagesh has informed that the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted twice a year.
The minister has said, “Next year onwards our government is aiming at two TET exams a year. This year, there will be only one exam as already the recruitment exam for around 15000 teachers has been initiated. The exam will be conducted on November 6”.
“We are also planning to introduce Spoken English classes in the Government Kannada Medium Schools. Once we get enough English teachers, we’ll begin the classes. We have also decided to begin Moral Science classes from this academic year”, he added.
