I’ll not say that I missed the post as district in-charge minister due to MLAs

Kota: The MLAs of Udupi district have enough problems relating to their individual constituencies. They must have met the Chief Minister to find solutions to the problem only and i don’t feel their meeting was to make me miss the post as the district in-charge minister, informed Minister of Fisheries, Ports and Inland Transport and Muzarai minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, addressing the media on Tuesday during his visit to Vishwakrama Yajna Mahotsav at Chempi.
Since 16 ministers have to handle the charge of the 30 districts in the state, a few ministers have been provided with the charge for neighbouring districts. This is the authority of the CM and I won’t question it; I’ll lovingly accept the given responsibility and try to carry out the duty honestly, he said.
Of the districts in the state with enough opportunity for development, Bengaluru is followed by DK district. There are 250 GPs. There are 7 MLAs of our own party. There is an MP. The highest numbers of temples in the state are here and since I am the Muzarai minister, I’ll give importance to their development.
I’ll also develop the various minor ports, major ports and give prominence to the creation of boat houses with the aim to develop fishing, he claimed.
Let’s work together
In response to the question regarding the opposition shown by some groups concerning his missing the post as district in-charge of Udupi district, the minister said that he was not aware of it and added that from the point-of-view of the party’s benefit, I wish that we all unite and work as one.
I’ll not forget Udupi
Just because I have not received the post as district in-charge of Udupi district, I’ll not forget the district. I’ll carryout the development works concerning my portfolio. Enough fight has been fought regarding the sand problem and within a week, and there is work pending from providing sand extraction permits to 171 contractors to providing the sand to the doorsteps of the buyer, he informed.
