Kasaragod: A curious case of a pickpocket showing his humane side by returning the documents found in the stolen wallet to the rightful owner was reported here.
Three days ago, K Madhavan Nair’s wallet was stolen when traveling on the bus. It contained all his important documents including his driving license, pan card, ATM cards, Aadhaar card, etc.
He had then printed an advertisement in a daily newspaper about the loss of the wallet and had requested the documents be returned.
Later a packet with the documents was delivered to Nair by post.
The thief, however, kept the Rs 7,000 to himself.
