Thieves drill hole into jewellery shop wall; over 1kg gold stolen

Mangaluru: Thieves drilled a hole into the wall of a jewellery shop and escaped with over one kilogram of gold at Bhavanthi Street in Car street
The incident came to light on Tuesday, September 3 when the shop ‘Arun Jewellers’ was opened for business.
It is gathered that the shop was closed from Saturday.
A case has been registered with Bunder police and investigation is in progress.
