Thieves steal cash and gold from a biker

Kasargod: Thieves sprayed chilli powder on a youth and stole cash, gold ornaments from him here on Monday evening.

The victim, Suhail (28) was carrying ornaments ans cash to his sister’s house at Perla when the incident took place.

It has been reported that the biker had 15 sovereigns of gold ornaments and Rs 90,000 in cash when he was robbed.

The gang apparently followed him in another bike, waited for the right time to attack, and sprayed chilli powder and took away cash and valuables.

The youth stands admitted into the government hospital here.

Police personnel from Badiadka station visited the spot, gathered the details and took up investigation.
