Thieves target dry fruits shop in Uppunda

Uppunda: Thieves broke into a dry fruits shop located near the petrol pump in Uppunda and decamped with dry fruits, chocolates among other things here on August 17 night.
It is gathered that the thieves entered the Ajfan Dry Fruits shop after breaking open the rolling shutter with a rod. The value of the items stolen from the shop is estimated at around Rs 20,000.
The thieves also stole the DVR of the CCTV camera installed at the shop. The theft came to light the next day following which a case was registered at Byndoor station.
