Thirthahalli‎‎: Headmaster killed in Omni-bike collision

‎Thirthahalli‎‎:‎‎ In a tragic incident, a school headmaster was killed on the spot after an Omni rammed into his motorbike. The accident took place near Kattehaklu in Thirthahalli taluk. on Saturday.

‎The deceased has been identified as Venkatesh (51), a resident of Bomlapura in Koppa taluk. He was serving as the headmaster of Kattehaklu Higher Primary School.

Venkatesh was out on school work on his bike at the time of the accident.  When he reached Nagaravalli a speeding Omni reportedly mowed him down. He was grievously injured and died on the spot.

‎A case has been registered at Malur police station.‎
