Thirthahalli: A team of (National Investigation Agency) NIA officials visited the house of two youths who are in hiding in the wake of their connections with terrorists.
In March last year, NIA officials had to conduct combing operations across Tirthahalli taluk after unauthorised usage of a satellite phone was detected.
During the operations, the two young men from Tirthahalli were confirmed to have had links with terrorists. Both of them had escaped.
Last March 19, NIA officials had visited the house of the youths and held an inquiry.
The NIA officials have visited the youths’ house again for investigating whether the absconding youths have made contact with their families.
The investigation into the families of the youths is been headed by a team of four NIA officers who have also sought help from the local police.
