Thirthahalli: In a tragic incident, two youths who went for a swim in the Tunga river drowned after drifting into deeper waters.
The deceased are identified as Vardhan (19) and Manju (20).
The duo had gone for a swim in the Tunga river on Monday, March 21.
The police and fire department officials after learning about the incident launched a rescue operation and found the bodies on Tuesday, March 22.
