Thokkottu: Huge pipes roll off truck on NH

Ullal: Huge pipes rolled off a truck that was carrying them on the flyover at Thokkottu.
The incident occurred when the old water supply pipes were being transported from Gorigudde to a yard near Talapady toll gate for storage by Navayuga Company.
As the lorry was passing through the Thokkottu flyover, the rope that was securing the pipes broke, causing them to fall onto the road. Fortunately, there were no vehicles on the road at the time due to the ongoing Ramzan fasting, which helped prevent a major accident.
The Mangaluru South Traffic Police, along with officials of the Navayuga company, immediately sprang into action and launched an operation to clear the fallen pipes from the flyover on NH.
