Those infected with Covid-19 can get vaccine only after 3 months of recovery

Bengaluru: Health Minister K Sudhakar on Saturday said that those who have been infected with Covid-19 can get the Covid-19 vaccine only after three months of recovery.
He further said that it is applicable for all doses, including the booster shot.
Taking to Twitter, Sudhakar said,” As per the recommendation of National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for Covid-19, people who have been infected with Covid-19 can get vaccine only after 3 months of recovery. This is applicable to all eligible beneficiaries due for their second dose or precaution dose.”

Recently, K Sudhakar announced that Karnataka is just 0.1 per cent away from being the first large state (with four crore-plus population) to achieve 100 per cent first dose vaccination coverage.
