Police have successfully arrested three individuals accused of attempting to murder a young man with a sword.

The arrested individuals are identified as Praveen (22) from Badagubettu, Abhishek (28) from Katapadi, and Desh Raj (18) from Puttur village.

The incident occurred when Charan, an employee at the Puttur salon, allegedly insulted an individual named Shabari.

In retaliation, Praveen’s gang called Charan to a meeting near the Biryani Point in Puttur. Charan arrived with three friends. During the meeting, Praveen’s gang attempted to attack Charan and his friends with swords.

Sensing danger, Charan and his friends abandoned their bikes and scooters and fled the scene, narrowly escaping the attack. Subsequently, Praveen’s gang vandalized the abandoned vehicles.

A case was registered following the incident, and police have since arrested the three suspects. An investigation is ongoing.
