Three BJP activists booked in Uppala CPI (M) activist murder case

Kasaragod: Three BJP activists have been booked by the police in relation to the CPM activist murder case in Uppala. The police have booked BJP activist Ashwath and two others for the murder of CPI (M) activist Abubakar Siddique.
During primary investigation, the probe team led by Kasargod DySP M V Sukumaran and two circle inspectors found that the murder took place over sale of liquor.
In response to the murder, an undeclared bandh has been observed in Manjeshwar and nearby places. The police have beefed up security in sensitive areas and bus services have also been stopped.
Earlier
CPI (M) activist Abubakar Siddique (21), from Sonkal was brutally murdered at Sonkal in Uppala by four unidentified assailants on the late night of Sunday, August 6th.
