Three died as bus plunged into a river in Kasargod

Kasargod:: A bus plying from Bengaluru to Thalaserry hit a bridge and plunged into a river this morning. Three have lost their life including the cleaner of the bus.
The deceased have been identified as Prajith, Jithesh and Hemalata from Koothuparamba near here.
Luckily not many were in the bus when the accident took place. Only four persons were in the bus including the staff.
The driver suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to a nearby hospital here.
The police have arranged for expert divers to conduct search operations in the river to check whether more people were in the bus.
Fire brigade, police personnel and locals joined hands in conducting rescue operation. They brought out three bodies and the driver from inside the river.
