Mangaluru: Continuing the crackdown on drugs, Konaje police and CCB officials arrested three peddlers from Uppala here on Friday June 4.
The arrested identified as Mohammed Munaf, Mohammed Muzambil, and Ahammed Masooq were found to be in possession of MDMA crystals weighing 170 gram worth Rs 10 lac.
The police also seized a car, bearing MH registration and four mobile phones. The worth of confiscated items is around Rs 17,37,000.
According to the police, the trio had procured the drugs from an African national in Bengaluru and were looking to sell it n Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Uppala and Kasargod.
A case is registered at ENPS police station.
CIty police commissioner N Shashi Kumar said that they will conduct a detailed investigation and also try to get details of the target customers. Further, he said that they will solicit help from Bengaluru police, if needed and also arrest the African national
