Three electrocuted to death in Mandya

Mandya: In a tragic incident three people electrocuted to death while trying to pull back the car that had hit the power pole on late Wednesday, June 12 night.

The deceased are identified as Devraj (31), Prasanna (45) and Pradeep (25).

It is gathered that the trio stepped on a live wire while trying to pull back the car that had hit the power poll. However, the injured in the car accident were immediately rushed to the hospital.

Following the incident, the villagers informed the CESCOM officials to shut down the power supply for a few hours.

The local police rushed to the spot and are conducting their investigation.
