Three held for planning to rob passengers

Mangaluru: Police have successfully nabbed a gang who were plotting a plan to loot passenger vehicles on the highway.
The police arrested three youth and seized lethal weapons, chilli powders, knives from the three.
The accused have been identified as Yahya (26), Kotekar, Mohammed Fayaz (19), Talapady and Abdul Tausif (19), from Kuthar.
The accused have been booked under IPC sections 399 and 402.
As per Police reports, the three accused are rowdy sheeters and have various cases against them in relation to theft, threats of murder and drugs.
