Three killed as bike hits parked lorry

Belagavi: Three persons were killed on Sunday after their two-wheeler crashed into a stationary lorry in Khanapur Taluk of Nandihalli Village.

The deceased have been identified as Sanju Rajayi (29), Prakash Chadavi (27) and Gujjanavara (39).

As per the sources, the accident took place while the three had headed off towards home after finishing their work. The person who was riding the bike, could not notice the lorry that was parked as its indicator switched off and ended up hitting the lorry.

Belagavi North traffic police have registered a case in this regard and investigation is underway.
