Three killed in accident near Somawarpet

Chamarajanagara: Three individuals, including two kids, were killed on the spot after a truck toppled on a car that was parked on roadside near Somawarpet on Saturday.
The victims hailed from Kulurgi town, Indi taluk, in Vijayapura region. They were returning after an excursion in Tamil Nadu when the accident took place.
The driver of the truck lost control over the vehicle and it toppled on the car which was parked on roadside, killing the driver and two kids on the spot.
Victim’s family had asked the driver to stop the car as they wanted to get down to drink tender coconut.
