Three people die in road accident in Shivamogga

Shivamogga: In a tragic accident, three people died on the spot and one person sustained severe injuries after two trucks collided with each other in Aiginabilu village on Saturday.

The deceased are identified as truck driver Sachin, Lokesh who was driving the truck containing LPG cylinders, and Malakappa, cleaner of the truck loaded with construction material.

Umesh, the injured who was sitting with the driver carrying cylinders, has been admitted to a government hospital in Sagara and is undergoing treatment there informed, sources.

The accident took place after a truck which was carrying LPG cylinders collided with the other truck which was loaded with construction material, informed sources.

Following the accident, the traffic movement of Sagar-Shivmoga highway was disrupted and police personnel were working towards clearing the traffic movement, informed sources.
