Three persons killed, three critical after car rams into tree

Chikkamagalur: Three persons died on the spot while three others sustained critical injuries after the car in which they were travelling rammed into a roadside tree at Uddeboranahalli in the Taluk here on Friday early morning.

The deceased persons are identified as Mahesh, Nagraj and Suresh, all residents of Ballari.

The accident took place after the driver of the Toyota vehicle lost control of the car and collided into the tree.

It is gathered that the group was returning to Ballari after visiting Dharmasthala on Thursday.

A case has been registered.
