Sikar: Three unidentified men barged into a jewellery shop in Rajasthan’s Sikar district and decamped with ornaments worth over Rs 8 lakh, the police said today.
The three masked men looted the shop in Fatehpur police station area last night by keeping the owner and his wife at gunpoint, they said.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ramchandar Moond, “The robbers also took away the jewellery that the woman was wearing.”
Police said the entry and exit routes of the district have been sealed and a hunt is on to nab the accused.
