Tight security arrangements made for Dharma Sansad

Udupi: The district police have made tight security arrangements for the Dharma Sansad scheduled to be held in Udupi from November 24-26.

Addressing the media, Dr. Sanjeev M Patil, District Superintendent of Police said that 2000 police personnel from Udupi district and 1400 from outside the district will be deployed to maintain law and order during the programme. As many as 4 ASP’s, 12 DySP’s and 105 PSI’s will be on duty. Video coverage will be made during the programme in sensitive areas.

Fire and emergency services, first aid ambulances and other services will also be made available during all three days of the occasion.

Dharma Sansad which is being organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad will be held between November 24 and 26.

A large number of seers from different mutts would be participating in the Dharma Sansad.
