Tipper-bike collision kills 3 members of same family

Ballari: A tragic accident is reported from the overpass near Elu Makkala Thayi Temple on Wednesday, August 24, in which, three people from the same family died on spot, while one kid suffered injuries.

The deceased are identified as Veeresh (40), Anjali (35), and Dinesh (6). Daughter Hani has sustained injuries.

Reportedly, the accident occurred when Veeresh with his family was on the way to his mother’s house on a bike, located at Cowl Bazar. While approaching the overpass, a tipper rammed into the bike from behind. Due to the impact Veeresh, his wife, and his son died on spot.

The reason for the accident is said to be overspeeding by the tipper driver.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested the tipper driver and have filed a case in the Traffic Police Station.
