Bengaluru: The Navayuga Devanahalli Toll Plaza enroute Kempegowda International Airport has delayed collecting toll in the booths as they couldn’t give applicable records to police to guarantee security.

Kala Krishnamurthy, DCP, Northeast, said they had asked some applicable reports from NDTPL before giving security, however the organization did not give the documents. “Hence security can’t be given,” she included.

The NDTPL introduced 15 new toll stalls along the way to KIA and had plans to start toll gathering from Tuesday midnight. It looked for police security as it expected agigation by taxi drivers that could bring about lawfulness issues.

An officer at the toll square said the organization would meet the authorities concerned and start the toll gathering in two or three days.
