Tollywood actor Nandamuri Tarakaratna no more

Bengaluru: In a big jolt to Tollywood, actor Nandamuri Tarakaratna passed away at a hospital in Bengaluru. He was 39.

Tarakaratna was battling for his life for the past 22 days after suffering a massive heart attack during a political rally in Kuppam.

He was being treated at Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital in Bengaluru. His health took a turn for the worse on Saturday. Despite the best efforts of the doctors, he breathed his last without responding to treatment.

Tarakaratna was the son of renowned cinematographer Nandamuri Mohan Krishna and the grandson of actor and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister late NT Rama Rao.
