Torrential rainfall strikes villages in Gadag

Gadag: The torrential rainfall in the district has impacted many villages. Janata Colony village at Belavanaki village in Rona taluk has been Aquatic due to the rainfall.

In addition to the rain, the water from fields has also penetrated the colony, which made the Janata Colony completely aquatic.

People in the district were in a state of distress at night due to the overnight rainfall as the bed, blanket, and food items were submerged in water.

They have been restlessly spreading the water out of the house.

The villagers have alleged that the local administration’s poor management of the drainage system.
