Tourist bus overturns in Maddur, 30 injured

Mandya: As many as 30 passengers were injured after the bus they were travelling on overturned near Aishwarya school on Bengaluru-Mysuru National Highway in Maddur here on Sunday, March 3.
Reportedly, a tourist bus from West Bengal with more than 50 passengers onboard tumbled off the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle when he tried to avoid a collision with a parked tractor on a narrow stretch of the road.
The Maddur Police on receiving the information rushed to the spot and with the help of villagers, managed to get the injured passengers out from the bus. The passengers were then shifted to MIMS hospital and are undergoing treatment.
A case in this regard has been registered at Maddur police station.
