Traffic advisory issued ahead of pro-CAA, NRC rally

Mangaluru: The city police have issued a traffic advisory to people ahead of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit in connection with the awareness rally on the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) here on Monday, January 27.

The rally organised by the BJP will be held at Goldfinch City in Bangra Kuloor, near Kottara Chowki, at 3 p.m. Traffic diversions will be in force from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., informed sources.

Vehicles coming from Udupi toward Bengaluru are requested to take a diversion at Padubidri towards Karkala -Dharmasthala-Shiradi Ghat. Vehicles coming from Bengaluru to Mangaluru are told to take a diversion at Melkar-BC road via Konaje-Thokkotu-Mangaluru.

Vehicles coming from Kottara Chowki are asked to take a diversion from Kottara Chowki- KPT- Nanthur- Moodubidri. Vehicles coming from Mangaluru city are requested to take the KPT-Nanthoor-Moodubidri diversion.
